Tour Costs and Bookings
The total cost of the "Heart of Italy Tour" is 2,290 USD.
If you are an Abruzzo Tours Member, or you already traveled with us, you'll be entitled to 100 USD discount on the Tour price, as well as each family member traveling with you.

The Tour Packet does include:
- Accommodation in 3-star hotels, en-suite facilities, double rooms with
bath, TV, telephone, continental breakfasts, both in L'Aquila, Abruzzo
and Todi, Umbria
- Authentic traditional meals on selected local restaurants on all sites
included in the itineraries, including wine and spirits.
- Travel throughout the tour by air-conditioned coach or van,
including transfers to and from Rome's Fiumicino Airport,
Land insurance coverage for health, accident and liability
- The services of the tour leaders and English-speaking guides throughout
the tour
- Special personal guided tours hosted by local experts
- A wine tasting with typical snacks in an old canteen in L'Aquila
- Paid entrance to all included activities and museums
- One laundry service (washing and ironing) provided during the tour
- Brochures, maps and handouts on all excursions
The Tour Packet does not include:
- Airfares
- Single room (20 USD additional charge per day)
- Meals on days at leisure and dinners**
- Personal transport costs (car rental, taxi etc.), phone calls or tips
- Individualized assistance during the days at leisure***

** Our experience shows that our travelers like to have a
very light dinner, or not having dinner at all, as all our daily lunches are large and substantial and definitely rich! Sometimes people just go out in town and get an ice cream. We replace these costs by
offering other services (more visits and laundry, for example). But not to worry, dinners
will always be available at the hotel restaurants at very special prices.
*** Visits to other places, genealogy research, locating and meeting
relatives, escort services. If you desire to book these further services,
please provide information long in advance, so we may guarantee our
availability at the lowest possible price.
