"We had a wonderful experience last year traveling in Abruzzo. Thanks to the professional staff of Abruzzo World Club, we were able to find the town where our family came from, were able to do further geneaology research while visiting there and explored many other interesting and beautiful spots in Abruzzo. Our tour guide was adept at planning an excellent itinerary customized to our particular interests which was well organized and easily accomlished making the total experience more than we had hoped for. We are returning this year with family members to share our discoveries. We highly recommend this group as well as the region of Abruzzo".

"To my friends at Abruzzo World Club: Molte grazie! I owe almost everything I know about my italian heritage to you, and I am very grateful. Just over two years ago I had the good fortune to find your website. Until then, all I knew was that my grandparents had emigrated to the USA from Chieti. To many (maybe most) of us growing up in America, our italian past was rarely thought about. As we grow older and reflect on our ancestors, we finally realize how important they were to what we are now. And we want to know more about them. With your genealogical expertise and your help in so many ways, I now know my ancestors back to the mid 1700's. What a wonderful warm feeling it is to resurrect the memory of these gallant, industrious people, and to begin to understand the source of my own values.
I have visited their village, Torricella Peligna, and met relatives and made friends there. I have seen their farms and experienced their culture. I could not have done that without your kickstart: paving the way there with the priest, providing guidance in my travels there, arranging for my accommodations, and then translating the documents we found initially and many times subsequently. Your personal attention to making my trip a success was beyond all my expectations.
At the Rocca di Calascio     I'm glad I was able to take the Abruzzo World Club heritage tour with you this past summer. It was an experience I will never forget. We Abruzzese are very fortunate that the Abruzzo region remains in many ways unspoiled, and can still impart the flavor of Italy that has persisted from the time of my ancestors: the beautiful countryside, the quaint villages, the warm people, the customs, the art, the food, the glorious churches and castles -- these made me proud to be a product of this culture. I greatly appreciated the way you conducted the tour. Every detail was well-planned and the guides assured there was never a problem. Each site we visited was fascinating, educational, and fun. The group was not too large, so we were always individuals, never a crowd. Our daily trips were led by well-informed guides, and actually they were just like friends, always assuring that each of us was comfortable and very well-fed! Bottom line, you made us feel part of your family. And we on the tour became a sort of family, too. In fact, many of us continue to correspond and even to visit.

"I would like everyone at Abruzzo World Club to know that I will long have wonderful memories of the tour that I took in September 2001. All arrangements were so precise and complete from the minute I arrived in Rome Airport until I left 2 weeks later.
As someone traveling alone, I was comfortable and found every one from Abruzzo World Club helpful. The research into my genealogy, with the excellent help of Piera was helpful, as she prepared me for the visit to the government building and laid the ground work for me ahead of time. The visit to relatives with you to translate was an experience I will long remember. All of the people of Abruzzo World Club were there for us when needed and all we had to do was ask for something and the arrangements were made (food or souvenirs).
Thank you all, for planning and setting up wonderful tours with so much information about the region. I have traveled to Italy 3 times before, with friends but not on an organized tour and this time I really saw so much more and had no worries about how to get anywhere or the language.
Again thank you!"

We saw so many interesting places but the day in Roccacaramanico when we got to meet our cousins was very special. It was only possible because of your translation and interest. We learned a tremendous amount about the Abruzzo history and customs.
If you have a special interest in the Abruzzo people and region we highly recommend Abruzzo World Club to everyone."

"This was the trip of a lifetime, an opportunity to explore your Italian heritage with professionals who will guide you each step of the way. The tour guides went out of their way to help each person find information and long lost relatives. We have never experienced such personalized attention on any tour we have taken.
We would recommend this tour group without reservation."
